The operation of replacing the timing chain of the Maruti Ritz is performed by opening the hood, so that the cover of the upper part of the engine block can be detached. After the cover has been removed, it will be possible to access the left side of the engine block, where the chain is positioned around its sprockets. By loosening the bolts that secure the chain tensioner, it will be possible to remove the chain from its sprockets, so that it can be replaced with a new spare part. After the replacement, the cover panel above the chain and all other removed parts must be reassembled.
