To replace the timing chain on a Maruti Ritz, open the hood to remove the cover from the top of the engine block. Once the cover is removed, access the left side of the engine block where the chain is located around its sprockets. By loosening the bolts that secure the tensioner, you can slide the chain off the sprockets to replace it with a new part. After the replacement, reinstall the panel over the chain and all other removed parts.
