The Maxus G50 is a compact minivan launched in the Chinese automotive market in February 2019. The G50 is the second minivan under the Maxus brand after the larger Maxus G10, which is a subsidiary of the Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC). In the Chinese market, the Maxus G50 was launched with two engine options, including a 1.3-liter inline 4-cylinder turbo engine that produces 163 hp (120 kW) and 169 lb-ft of torque, and a 1.5-liter inline 4-cylinder turbo engine that produces 169 hp (124 kW) and 184 lb-ft of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
