The following steps will show us how to disassemble and eventually replace the rear brakes (drum and shoes) of the Mazda 2. First, lift the vehicle and start by removing the rear wheel, unscrewing the bolts; then, unscrew the drum and central nut screws, in order to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, if necessary, replace the shoes, releasing the retaining spring; install the new original shoes and check the wear of the drum, reassembling everything and replacing the brakes on the other side in the same way.
