In this tutorial we can see how to replace the rear brake shoes in the Mazda 2, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, park the vehicle in a flat place with the gear engaged, then remove the handbrake, lift the rear side and remove the wheels. Then unscrew the two bolts indicated, remove the drum and detach both the various springs and the adjustment device. At this point we can remove the old brake shoes, clean any dirt residue present and install the replacement parts following the reverse procedure.
