Welcome to this article where we will show you how to replace the battery of the remote control of the Mazda CX5 1st series. For this operation, you will need a flat-head or small slotted screwdriver. First, you need to remove the emergency key by levering on the appropriate button and pulling the key outwards. In the emergency key slot, there are two holes where you need to lever with the screwdriver to unlock the fastening clips. After unlocking the fastening clips, you can remove the cover by levering with your hands. Once the cover is removed, you will find a battery protection cover, remove it, replace the battery, then reinsert the cover, close the remote control by pressing with your hands, and reinsert the emergency key into its slot. Now the procedure will be complete.
