How to Replace TPMS Sensors on a Mazda 2

Model: Mazda 2 DE, MK 2, DH - Years 2007-2014

To replace the TPMS sensors on a Mazda 2, safely lift the vehicle and remove the affected wheel. Next, fully deflate the tyre and separate the bead of the tyre from the rim using the appropriate equipment. Then locate the TPMS sensor attached to the valve of the rim and unscrew the fastening nut to remove the old sensor. Install the new TPMS sensor in the same position, tightening the valve nut according to the specified torque. Refit the tyre onto the rim and inflate it to the correct pressure. After reinstalling the wheel on the vehicle, it may be necessary to programme or synchronise the new sensors using the vehicle's system or a compatible diagnostic tool. Finally, check that the TPMS light goes out correctly after a few minutes of driving.
