To replace the TPMS sensors on a Mazda 2, safely lift the vehicle and remove the affected wheel. Next, fully deflate the tyre and separate the bead of the tyre from the rim using the appropriate equipment.

Then locate the TPMS sensor attached to the valve of the rim and unscrew the fastening nut to remove the old sensor. Install the new TPMS sensor in the same position, tightening the valve nut according to the specified torque.

Refit the tyre onto the rim and inflate it to the correct pressure. After reinstalling the wheel on the vehicle, it may be necessary to programme or synchronise the new sensors using the vehicle's system or a compatible diagnostic tool.

Finally, check that the TPMS light goes out correctly after a few minutes of driving.

How to Reset the Tyre Pressure Warning Light on the Jeep Renegade?

To reset the tyre pressure warning light on the Jeep Renegade, inflate the tyres until they reach the recommended pressure: this value is indicated on the sticker attached to the driver’s door pillar. Once the tyres are properly inflated, navigate through the menu that appears on the instrument cluster until you find the tyre pressure option. At this point, press and hold the OK button on the right side of the steering wheel to make the warning light disappear.
