Replacing the remote control battery of the Mazda Mx5, as in the case of replacing the battery of the key / remote control of any car, is also a relatively simple operation. In this case, the first thing we have to do is to rotate the metal key, proper, around its pin in order to move it from its housing. Once this is done, using a small screwdriver, release the joint of the upper part of the remote control (the part where the metal key is attached). Now, always using the small screwdriver, we unlock the joint that holds the 2 halves of the remote control shell together in order to have access to the battery compartment. We replace the old battery with the new one and reassemble everything and that's it!
