How to Remove the Outer Handle on Mazda 2

Model: Mazda 2 DE, MK 2, DH - Years 2007-2014

Open the affected door and inspect the side (which can only be accessed with the door open). At the handle height, you will notice a small round screw cover: remove it with a plastic wedge or a small flat screwdriver. At this point, you can access the now exposed T20 torx bolt. Once unscrewed, you can pull out the lock cylinder and then remove the handle from its housing, which now has enough space. Proceed in reverse for the installation of the new handle. This is a very simple maintenance task.
