How to Replace the Brakes on a Mazda 6

Lift the car on a ramp, remove the wheels by unscrewing the bolts. The bolt for the caliper support is covered, so, as shown in the video, remove the upper plastic cover with a flat screwdriver and then unscrew it (8 mm spanner). While freeing the disc from the caliper support, a 12 mm bolt will also be released, remove that as well (do not detach the calipers from the car). Now unscrew the bolts that secure the disc to the hub and, finally, you can slide it off. Clean the hub with a wire brush and fit the new disc in the correct orientation. Screw in the pins, refit the caliper support, and tighten all previously removed bolts.
