Complete Removal of the Engine Subframe

Model: Mazda Mx 5 NB, MK 2 - Years 1998-2005

Removing the subframe is a complex operation as many mechanical parts must be disassembled. Remove the radiator feed pipe and block the coolant flow with a spanner. Disconnect the electrical cables from the cooling fans and the remaining pipes. Using a ratchet spanner, start removing the screws from the engine cover. Remove the coolant reservoir. Dismantle the wheels and part of the brakes to access the underlying mechanics. Unscrew the bolts related to the subframe and the various mechanical parts that prevent its removal.
