How to turn off the particulate filter warning light.
Model: Mazda 5
MK 1
- Years 2005-2015
In this video, rather than maintenance or repair, you will learn how to turn off the particulate filter warning light. This light, like many others, turns on and off shortly after the engine starts. After a certain mileage, it will definitely stay on to indicate the need for a particulate filter replacement. To turn off the light from the instrument panel, you can use this very simple trick. Obtain some electrical wire. Locate the black connector as shown in the video. Press the tab to release the cap on the right side of the connector. Now insert one end of the wire into the connector at the upper right contact. Connect the other end of the wire to the negative terminal of the battery. Now turn the ignition key without starting the engine, and once the lights have gone out, press the accelerator pedal ten times. After doing this, turn off the ignition. The next time you turn on the ignition, the light should no longer remain on. Don't forget to remove the electrical wire and replace the cap on the connector. Car model: MAZDA 5 diesel Year: 2008
