To replace the external handle on a Mazda 3, you need to completely remove the door panel. Start by loosening the fixing bolts located under the grab handle and at the internal handle's location. Once these screws are loosened, you can detach the panel completely, disconnecting any relevant connectors as well. At this point, remove the fabric covering the handle from the inside by unscrewing its screws and pulling out the old handle from the outside of the door. This will allow you to insert the new handle, securing it in place and reinstalling the panel.
