To remove the door panel on a Mazda CX-9, you need to detach the plastic covers located inside the handle area and in the recess on the armrest. Under these covers, you will find the bolts securing the panel that need to be loosened; additionally, you will need to remove the triangular panel located at the upper right of the door panel by loosening the additional bolts underneath. This way, you can completely detach the panel by disconnecting the underlying connectors and replacing it with a new replacement part.
