How to Replace the Indicator Panel on the Mazda CX-9 Transmission?

To replace the indicator panel next to the transmission, you only need a flathead screwdriver or a similar non-sharp object. Use it to pry around the chrome cover of the transmission and remove it by disengaging it from the snap mechanism. Similarly, detach the underlying plastic panel and lift it. Now you can remove the panel of interest, which is the indicator panel, by disengaging it and disconnecting it from the connector. Install the new one and close everything up by retracing the steps you took.
