Mazda 5 - Video tutorial

Model: Mazda 5 MK 1 - Years 2005-2015
Part: Gearbox
Operation: Guide to replacing the automatic transmission of the Mazda 5

In this guide, we will see the instructions that will allow us to disassemble and replace the entire automatic transmission box of the Mazda 5. The process of disassembling the transmission is complex and requires a lot of patience; first, we open the engine hood and start by removing the battery, disconnecting the various pipes and wiring, as shown in the video. At this point, we remove the engine support and the transmission box support by unscrewing the bolts; then we disconnect both front half-shafts, draining the oil. We unscrew the screws of the transmission box to separate it from the engine block, following the video tutorial until the end!

How do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto?

To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter. Below them you will find the clutch cable, which will have to be adjusted by screwing or loosening the bolt placed at the end of the cable. This will make the pedal harder or softer; after the adjustment, it will be possible to assemble all the components by closing the hood.
