Replacing the rear lights on the Mazda CX-5, as shown in this tutorial, is a straightforward and quick task. First, ensure the key is not in the ignition, then open the boot and, using leverage along the joint, unclip the panel at the back of the light in question. Next, locate the securing nuts for the light unit, unscrew them with a 12mm socket, and pull the light away from the bodywork. At this point, simply disconnect the power connectors and fit the replacement.
