How to Disable the Passenger Airbag on the Mazda 3?

To disable the passenger airbag on the Mazda 3, open the glove compartment located on the passenger side: in the upper right part of the compartment, you will find a lock that allows you to activate or deactivate the airbag. By inserting the ignition key into this lock, you can turn it to "OFF" to disable the airbag; when this is done, a specific warning light will appear on the instrument panel. To reactivate it, simply turn the lock back to "ON".
