How do you deactivate the passenger airbag of the Mazda 3?

To deactivate the passenger airbag of the Mazda 3, you need to open the glove compartment located on the passenger side: here you will find a lock on the top left of the compartment, where you will need to insert the ignition key. The lock must be turned so that it can be moved from ON to OFF: in this way you will notice that the corresponding wording will also appear on the instrument panel, indicating the deactivation of the airbag. To reactivate it, simply reposition the lock to ON and close the compartment.
