If the cigarette lighter in your Mazda 3 has suddenly stopped working, first check the status of the relevant fuse, the location of which is indicated in this video. As shown, the fuse in question is located in the box inside the cabin, specifically behind the left side panel of the dashboard on the driver's side.

It is a 15A fuse and is the fourth in the second row when looking at the box from the front. If faulty, ensure you use a replacement with equivalent specifications and always work with the vehicle switched off to avoid causing any damage.
