To reset the brake wear light on a Mercedes A-Class, turn on the ignition so you can navigate through the menu that appears on the instrument cluster: select "Workshop" and then "Brake pads replacement." This will open a screen where you can press and hold the OK button located on the side of the steering wheel.

You will notice that the brake pad wear light will be reset.

After completing the procedure, you can turn off the ignition completely.
