How do you change the key fob battery of a Mercedes C-Class? Let's see in this video how to do it. Take your key fob and press the button to release the metal key. Once extracted, use a screwdriver to pry between the key cover and the top plastic cap (the space where the metal key fits).

Pry until the cover opens.

Remove the worn battery with a screwdriver, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Reattach the cover to your key fob by pressing until you hear it click into place.

Finally, insert the metal key back into the key fob. Check that the key fob works correctly.
