We remove a front shock absorber of a Mercedes C-Class. Let's see carefully how to do it: we loosen the pins of the rim, lift the car on a column bridge and take off the wheel. We spray the shock absorber with some release agent, then with a screwdriver we go to unscrew the screws of the internal plastic wheel mudguard. Now we unscrew the locking pins of the oil pipes, the pin of the vertical arm. If the pin does not come off, we intervene with a hammer and release. Now we lower the bridge and unscrew the pins on the side in the engine compartment and remove the shock absorber from its housing, we separate the spring from the same. We insert the new spring, after the assembly of the same, we insert the shock absorber in its housing and we go first to tighten all the pins in the upper part in the engine compartment and then to fix the lower part. We screw the vertical arm with the wheel hub and with the shock absorber. We tighten all the pins with attached pieces.
