Remove a Front Shock Absorber from a Mercedes C-Class

Remove a front shock absorber from a Mercedes C-Class. Follow these steps carefully: Loosen the wheel nuts, lift the car on a column lift, and remove the wheel. Spray the shock absorber with penetrating oil, then use a screwdriver to remove the screws from the plastic inner fender. Now, remove the mounting bolts for the oil lines and the vertical arm bolt. If the bolt does not come out, use a hammer and penetrating oil to help. Lower the lift and remove the bolts on the engine bay side, then pull the shock absorber out of its housing, separating the spring from it. Insert the new spring, and after installing it, place the shock absorber back into its housing. First, tighten all the bolts at the top in the engine bay, then secure the bottom. Bolt the vertical arm to the wheel hub and the shock absorber. Tighten all the bolts with their respective parts.
