Today, you will learn how to replace the remote battery for the Mercedes E-Class. To replace the battery, press the button on the back of the remote to remove the cover.

Once the cover is removed, insert a screwdriver into the lower corner to take out the battery compartment. Remove the battery and proceed with the replacement.

Insert the battery compartment back into the remote and close the cover. Test the remote by locking and unlocking the vehicle.

If there is no response from the remote, you may need to replace the internal microchip.
