How to replace the airbag in the Mercedes C-Class

When the airbag warning light on the instrument panel comes on, it is very likely that there is a defect in the airbag and it needs to be replaced. To replace the airbag on a Mercedes C-Class car, we need to use a long flat tip screwdriver or a key. Insert the screwdriver into the lower hole on the right side of the steering wheel and perform the same operation on the left side hole, trying to move the lever that locks the central body. Then remove the central body and disconnect the connector. After completing this operation, we can proceed with inserting the new airbag and central body. Once the airbag is removed, it is also possible to remove the steering wheel to check that everything is in order; to do this, we need to unscrew the central nut with a torque wrench and then remove the steering wheel.
