How do you remove the instrument cluster on a Mercedes CLK 200? Follow these steps for proper disassembly: Remove the plastic trim around the instrument cluster (if present) and detach it from the dashboard, then remove the trim above the steering wheel. Use special removal tools (as shown in the video) to take out the cluster: insert them into the holes beneath the instrument panel, then pull the piece towards you. After detaching the instrument cluster, pull it away from the dashboard and disconnect the power cable. Install a new piece or replace the LEDs/bulbs in the cluster and refit the original. Finally, reverse the assembly steps.
