If the remote control of your Mercedes C-Class W204 suddenly stopped working and you want to replace the battery inside it, then all you have to do is follow all the following steps. First of all, get a flat head screwdriver and use it to easily remove the emergency key inside the cover.

Once you have done this, use the flat screwdriver again to remove the rear protective cover. At this point, also remove the exhausted battery and replace it with a new battery of the same type.
