How to replace the air filter on a Mercedes C-Class W203

Let's see how to replace the air filter on a Mercedes C-Class W203: we open the hood and see the filter box on the right side of the engine compartment, where there is a rectangular black plastic box, with a large connected tube. The cover is fixed with 6 Torx T25 screws. Let's remove them and put them in a safe place where they won't fall. In some versions there may also be a small tube or connector above the cover. If present, gently remove it. Lift the cover, remove the old air filter, and clean the inside of the housing well with a cloth to remove dust and residue. Position the new filter properly, where the rubber edge acts as a gasket and must perfectly match the edge of the housing. Replace the cover and screw in all 6 screws (without overtightening). Put the tube back in place, and the job is done.
