How to disassemble the door panel of a Mercedes Vito W639

Model: Mercedes Vito W639, MK 2 - Years 2003-2013

Let's see how to replace the door panel of the Mercedes Vito W639, in order to replace the window switch. Unscrew the screw located in the glove compartment, and remove the small cover located in the compartment next to it. Remove the main cover of the armrest opening, insert a screwdriver into the slot at the bottom and lever it. We will find three more screws along the edge of the panel, which do not unscrew but are removed by pressing with the screwdriver. With all the screws removed, the panel is only fixed by plastic clips along the entire panel. Put your fingers between the panel and the door and gently pull towards you to unlock the clips one by one. Lift the panel upwards and disconnect the electrical connector. Unscrew the two torx screws and replace the old switch with the new one.
