Let's see the location and diagram of the fuse boxes of the Mercedes SLK R171: inside the cabin, the box is located within the thickness of the dashboard, on the driver's side. Access is through a small notch found at the bottom, where we can leverage with a small screwdriver. A second box is positioned in the engine compartment, in front of the driver (left-hand drive), right next to the outer body side. In this box, we find the fuse for the cigarette lighter (which is also a power supply) and it is #47. On the opposite side of the engine compartment, next to the strut of the shock absorber, there is a small box containing pre-fuses. In the trunk, on the left side, we find a fourth box, located behind the carpet cover and behind the metal protection of the rear seat.
