How do you change the battery in a key fob for a Mercedes C-Class? Here's how: Take your key fob and slide the button to release the metal key; once the key is out, use a screwdriver to pry out the plastic battery holder. Pry until the two pieces separate from the cover, remove the battery holder, replace the worn battery using a screwdriver, and get a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the cover with the battery until you hear it click into place. Finally, insert the metal key back into the key fob. Check that the key fob functions correctly.
