How to Replace the Key Fob Battery for the Mercedes E-Class?

To replace the key fob battery for the Mercedes E-Class, press the button at the top of the fob and pull the key out of its housing. Once the key is removed, pry up to lift the plastic cover on the back of the fob. Underneath, there will be a tray that needs to be pulled out: inside, you will find the battery, which can then be replaced with a new replacement part. After inserting the new battery, reinstall the cover and the key.
