Removing Rear Suspension Spring

Model: Mercedes Classe C - Years 1983-1993
Part: Suspension system

Lift the vehicle and remove the wheel corresponding to the repair area.
Using appropriate clamps, compress the suspension spring until you can remove the upper support.
Then, remove the mounting pins of the suspension control arm from the crossmember and the hub (if necessary, use a punch to extract them) and the pins securing the shock absorber to the arm itself: at this point, you can extract the control arm with the spring (held in place by the clamp).
Then, loosen the clamp to remove the spring from the control arm.
