How to Replace the Upper Arm of the Rear Suspension

Place the car on a lift and raise it to a comfortable working height. Remove and take out the wheel corresponding to the affected suspension.

Remove the lower plastic cover in front of the wheel. Locate the arm to be replaced and proceed to unscrew the bolts that hold it in place.

To unscrew the bolt that secures the arm at the top, lift the wheel with a hydraulic jack to relieve tension on the suspension and unscrew the bolt that secures the suspension at the bottom. Now remove the opposite rear wheel and take off the corresponding lower cover.

Unscrew the bolt that secures the suspension at the bottom on this side as well. At this point, you can unscrew the last bolt that secures the arm in place.

Remove the arm and replace it with the new one. Repeat all the steps in reverse order. The maintenance operation shown in the images is performed on a Mercedes C-Class.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
