How to Replace the Upper Arm of the Rear Suspension

Model: Mercedes Classe C W204 - Years 2007-2013

Place the car on a lift and raise it to a comfortable working height. Remove and take out the wheel corresponding to the affected suspension. Remove the lower plastic cover in front of the wheel. Locate the arm to be replaced and proceed to unscrew the bolts that hold it in place. To unscrew the bolt that secures the arm at the top, lift the wheel with a hydraulic jack to relieve tension on the suspension and unscrew the bolt that secures the suspension at the bottom. Now remove the opposite rear wheel and take off the corresponding lower cover. Unscrew the bolt that secures the suspension at the bottom on this side as well. At this point, you can unscrew the last bolt that secures the arm in place. Remove the arm and replace it with the new one. Repeat all the steps in reverse order. The maintenance operation shown in the images is performed on a Mercedes C-Class.
