Replacing the diesel filter is very important maintenance to ensure good efficiency of the fuel system, benefiting starting, reducing smoke, etc. The replacement of the filter is very simple to carry out and the filter is located in a similarly convenient position, just below the intake duct exiting from the engine air filter box; therefore, loosen the hose clamps and slide them off the spouts exiting the filter, then move on to the screws of the central duct with a push-fit. Proceed in reverse for fitting the new filter, but before starting the engine, fill it using the appropriate pump located on the opposite side, under the brake fluid reservoir.
