How to remove the turn signal switch on a Mercedes E-Class? Let's see how to proceed with the disassembly. Before removing the car's steering wheel, disconnect the battery power cables. Remove the steering wheel trim pieces using a screwdriver and appropriate bit, then, remove the airbag by unscrewing the screws present. Once the airbag is removed: disconnect the power connectors, then unscrew the central steering wheel bolt and disconnect the power connectors for the airbag and buttons. Pull the steering wheel off by hand after marking the tightening position with a marker. After removing the steering wheel, extract the turn signal switch from the steering column. Replace the turn signal switch and reassemble the parts.
