How to replace the license plate bulbs on a Mercedes C-Class? Open the trunk hood; use a screwdriver or pry tool to remove the plastic cover on the inside of the trunk lid attached to the car's body. Once the bulb holder is removed: take out the damaged bulb from it (replace all bulbs). Install the new bulb (same size and voltage) by inserting it into the bulb holder and reattach the plastic cover to the trunk lid. After closing the trunk lid: test the proper functioning of the previously installed bulb.
