How to Reset the Service Light in a Mercedes GLA

Model: Mercedes Gla MK 1, W156 - Years 2013-2019

To reset the service light on the first generation Mercedes-Benz GLA, enter the vehicle and turn on the instrument cluster without starting the engine. Use the buttons on the steering wheel to navigate the central display menu until you reach the 'Service' or 'Assyst Plus' section. Once there, select the maintenance interval option and press the OK button. Then, hold down both the OK button and the phone answer button for a few seconds until the hidden assistance menu appears on the display. Scroll through the options until you find 'Full Service' and select it. Confirm the maintenance reset when prompted. Once the procedure is complete, turn off the instrument cluster, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on to verify that the service light has indeed been reset and does not appear on the display anymore.
