How to Reset the Service Light in a Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe E W210 - Years 1995-2002

To reset the service light on a Mercedes-Benz E-Class, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position without starting the engine. Use the buttons on the instrument panel to display the total odometer. Within a few seconds, quickly press the trip odometer reset button twice. Immediately after, turn the key to the "OFF" position. Press and hold the same trip odometer reset button, and while holding it, turn the key back to the "ON" position. Continue holding the button for about 10 seconds until a beep or message appears on the display indicating that the reset is complete. Release the button, turn off the ignition, and turn it back on to verify that the service light has been reset.
