How to Reset the Service Light on a 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Today, you will learn how to independently reset the service light for the maintenance reminder on a 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class vehicle. To perform the reset, press the button located on the outer part of the left lever on the steering wheel to access the settings menu. Hold the button until you see the service reset option. Release and press the button to set the mileage for the next maintenance. After completing the reset, release the button and restart the instrument cluster. If the reset fails, you will need to visit a shop for a computerized diagnosis.
