After a long period of inactivity, the power window switches on the Mercedes E-Class may stop functioning. Therefore, it is necessary to reprogram them.

To reprogram the window switches, get inside the vehicle and turn on the ignition. Immediately press the windshield wiper switch and let it fully open.

Then, hold the button for a few seconds and follow the same procedure with the button for closing the window. Repeat the same steps for opening and closing the passenger side front window.
