How to Remove the Rear Seat of the A-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe A W168 - Years 1997-2004

To remove the rear seats of the A-Class, follow these steps. Open the rear door, and on the lower side of the seat cushion, there is a lever; activate it to fold down the backrest. Now you can recline the seat with the backrest down using the lever located at the bottom and side of the seat; pull it and move the entire seat vertically and forward. After doing this, pull the handle located under the seat to detach the pins that hold it to the vehicle's floor. Perform the same operation for the seat on the opposite side. For reinstallation, reverse the steps you took earlier.
