How to Reset the Maintenance Light on a Mercedes E-Class

To reset the maintenance light on a latest generation Mercedes E-Class, get in the vehicle and turn on the instrument cluster without starting the engine. Use the touch controls on the steering wheel to access the instrument cluster menu. Scroll to the "Assistance" or "Service" section and select the option related to maintenance. Enter the menu dedicated to service intervals and choose the reset option. Confirm the procedure by following the instructions on the display. The system will request confirmation of the type of service performed, then complete the reset of the maintenance indicator. Once the procedure is finished, the service light will be removed from the instrument cluster.
