Want to replace the shift knob on a Mercedes C-Class? Let's see how to remove it in this video. Use a plastic trim tool to disconnect the leather boot frame (if you need to replace it). Grab the shift knob with both hands and pull it upward (a strong and decisive motion) until it comes off the shift lever.

To install the new knob: take the new shift knob and slide it onto the lever, tightening it until it is fully threaded; install the new boot and position it over the center console. Finally, test the movement of the lever in the center console to ensure the knob is correctly installed.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space.
