Removing the Shift Knob on a Mercedes C-Class

Let's remove the shift knob from a Mercedes C-Class. Enter the cabin of your Mercedes, disconnect the leather boot frame using a plastic trim tool, take the knob in your hands, and rotate it left and right until you remove it from the shift lever. Take the new knob and slide it onto the lever in the center console until it is secured, then install the new leather boot with the clips. Check all the plastic parts of the boot and verify correct installation. Secure the new knob with the gear numbers oriented horizontally.
