Replacing Mercedes C-Class Key Battery

Is the key remote battery dead? Let's see how to replace it. Take your ignition remote and remove the metal key. Once the metal key is out, insert it into the plastic key cover and press inside. When you hear a click, the cover will be open. Use a small screwdriver to remove the dead battery, take a new one (same size and voltage), and replace it. Reattach the plastic cap covering the key cover, and test the key's functionality with the buttons above.
