Replace the damaged rearview mirror on a Mercedes E-Class. Here’s how to change it. Use a plastic trim tool to pry between the edge of the mirror frame and the broken mirror. Pry until the rear part of the mirror detaches (disconnect the power cable). Replace the damaged piece with the new one (be careful not to cut yourself on the glass shards). Secure the plastic clips into the mirror supports, and connect the power connector (if present). Get inside the vehicle and adjust the mirror using the electric buttons.
