How to Replace the Pump and Float on a Mercedes-Benz ML 430

Model: Mercedes Classe M W164 - Years 2005-2011

In the video we show, we have already removed the old pump and are about to install a new one. If you are unsure how to proceed with the disassembly, follow the video and work through the steps in reverse. The pump is located in the fuel tank, beneath the row of rear seats that you will need to fold down. After lifting the upholstery, you will find the cap to remove. Below, you will have the pump connected with an electrical cable and two fuel pipes; after removing these, you can unscrew the large white locking ring and pull the pump upwards along with the float and pickup pipes.
