Remove the gear indicator on Mercedes E? Very easy operation, let's see the disassembly. We bring the gear knob vertically, then, with a plastic lever we remove the molding of the central tunnel. We disassemble the knob from above the rod to remove the cover. Immediately afterwards, with a screwdriver, unscrew the fastening screws of the mask which includes the gear indicator. We remove the gear indicator and disconnect the electrical clamp. We mount the gear indicator kit on the plastic cover and then above the central tunnel. We test the correct functioning of the indicator once the assembly is completed.
