How to Remove the Air Vents on a Mercedes W245

Model: Mercedes Classe B W245, MK 1 - Years 2005-2011

To remove the air vent from a Mercedes W245, you will need a small diameter metal rod (about 5 mm) with the end bent at 90° to create a small hook. Once the tool is made, locate the hooks at the ends of the vent that hold it in place on the dashboard. Once the hooks are found, insert the rod horizontally into the corresponding holes, rotate it vertically, and pull outward to release it. After completing this procedure for both hooks, pull the vent outward, being careful of the clip connected underneath. Then disconnect it, and you will have the air vent free.
