Replacing Door Cylinder on Mercedes E-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009
Part: Door lock

Open the door where you intend to change the lock cylinder. Remove or simply move the door's side seal so you can unscrew the T20 Torx screw. This allows you to pull the short part of the handle where the lock cylinder is located. Pull the cylinder out and disconnect its connector. At this point, remove the handle by moving it sideways and then pulling it out. Now you can remove the internal handle support or proceed to reinstall the external handle and the cylinder, working in reverse order.
